At Flux, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how Flux (referred to as "we", "us", or "our") handles data in our mobile application and marketing website (getflux.tv).

1. Media Player & User-Provided Content

Flux is a media player and organizer application. Flux does not provide, host, sell, or include any media content or playlists. Playlists, M3U links, Xtream credentials, and other user-provided sources are the sole responsibility of the user. Users must ensure they have the legal rights to access and use any media source they import into the application.

2. Data Collection and Local Storage

We believe that your data belongs to you. Therefore, Flux is designed to store as much data locally on your device as possible. The following information is stored directly and securely on your own device:

Playlists & Credentials: Playlist URLs, M3U content, and Xtream Codes login credentials (host, port, username, password) are stored locally to allow the app to fetch your streams.
App Settings & Preferences: User preferences, favorite channels, custom categories, and interface setups are saved locally.
Playback Progress: "Continue Watching" markers, history, and playback positions are stored locally.
Downloads & Recordings: Media files downloaded or recorded within the app are saved directly to your device storage.

None of this local data is uploaded to our servers, nor do we have access to your playlists, credentials, or downloaded/recorded content.

3. Device Permissions

To provide specific features, Flux may request the following permissions on your device:

Local Network Access: Required to search for and connect to casting devices (such as Smart TVs or Chromecast) on your local network.
Storage & Media Library Access: Required to save downloaded movies, series episodes, and live TV recordings to your device.

You can grant or deny these permissions at any time through your device's system settings.

4. Third-Party Services

To support app development, run the free version, and manage subscription access, Flux integrates third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) which process certain data:

Advertising (Google AdMob): Flux uses Google AdMob to show advertisements in the free version. Google AdMob may collect and process device identifiers, advertising identifiers (such as IDFA), app interaction data, diagnostics, approximate location, and other data for advertising personalization, fraud prevention, analytics, and service operation.
Subscriptions & Purchases (RevenueCat & Apple): Flux uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and Flux+ subscriptions. RevenueCat may process purchase history, subscription status, product identifiers, app user identifiers, device information, and diagnostics.
Apple In-App Purchase:All transactions, billing, and subscription management are handled securely through Apple In-App Purchase under Apple's standard terms.

5. Personal Data Sale Statement

Flux does not sell personal data. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information or streaming habits with any third parties.

6. External Streaming Links

When you import a playlist or stream content, the app connects directly to the third-party URLs you provide. Flux is not responsible for the privacy practices, servers, or content of these third-party providers. When connecting to these links, your IP address and device information may be visible to the external streaming provider.
